I am home for the weekend, actually home earlier this week to help with some family matters. Got myself a parking ticket too L. Luckily, got 40% if I pay within 24 hrs, but I had to wait an hour to pay the summon…arghh.

Woke up pretty early today, nothing much to do at such hour. Decided to take doggie for a walk and do some photo shooting.

What a pleasant surprise to find a wild mushroom outside my house.

Mom asked me to fetch her to market and I have my camera with me. Why I bring my camera to market ler? Taiping having one of the oldest market in the country is worth a snap. Is actually awkward to take the camera around the market. All aunties and uncles looking at me weirdly….haha.

This few weeks we have a lot of outing all in favor for the ginna in town. We are going Batu Ferigghi this time. SLR kakis eyeing on sunset shooting…I am very excited about it until it started to rain right after I get into my car :S lucky it stopped after 10 minutes later.

We had dinner in Ferrighi Garden. Restaurant with very nice setting, too bad it rains again and we had to move to dine inside. 

But is equally nice inside as well.

Finally got my long awaited DSLR after a year of saving. I’ve been always admiring photos shared by Calvin and Derick. Derick puts a lot of effort in poisoning me to be in the group. After paying my house loan, I took whats left to get the camera (I am dead poor now). The plan is to wait till April and get myself a lovely bday gift but I needed a diversion from the pain I am fighting hard to heal now.  

And there goes …my new baby DSLR Canon 450D. Born 6th Feb 2009.
